Originally from Ottawa, Canada, Carrie has kept a home base with her husband in Asia since 2003. A nomad at heart, Carrie's deep love for travel, photography, and culture have lead her on frequent travels over the past seven years. She discovered the joys of blogging and photography shortly after she left Canada. Since then, she has published four travel related websites, including two award-winning sites, My Several Worlds and Taiwan Photographers.

Carrie funds her travels with money that she makes online, successfully meshing all of her interests into a lifestyle that allows her to travel whenever and wherever she wants. 

These days, Carrie writes and edits professionally for a publishing company in Taipei, where she contributes to several books, magazines, and textbooks on a monthly basis. She also finds work as a freelance writer, editor, and photographer. 

People tell her she's a jack-of-all-trades, but she insists she's really just a girl who believes that inspiration can be found in anything and everything.
